| Craig Burden is still uncapped at Test level, but was part of the Springbok squad in 2012 following injuries to Bismarck du Plessis and Chiliboy Ralepelle. A former provincial centre and winger, he is exceptionally fast and shilful for a tight forward, but after moving to hooker a few seasons ago, Burden’s skills in the set piece have also developed very well. He is very good with ball in hand and has a high work rate.
