As one of only three rugby players in the history of the game to have scored a hat-trick of tries in Tests against the All Blacks (by end 2012), Marius Joubert will forever hold a special place in South African rugby. A pacy outside centre with an eye for the tryline, Joubert played in 30 Tests for the Boks between 2001 and 2005, scoring nine tries in the process. Alongside De Wet Barry, they were a potent midfield combination for the Boks, Stormers and Western Province for a number of seasons.
